End of Semester Reflection

As I reflect on what I have learned, unlearned and relearned in this class, I am reminded that as writers we will always grow and change. In reading the recent posts I can see a common theme, that of changing how we have written and being able to see the difference in just a short semester. I too am able to see how different I write and express myself. My poetry was very abstract and "out there" with very few concrete details (I swear I will have nightmares about concrete details from now on). Now however I can see that I am using more details and am able to focus more on one theme instead of wandering off to who knows where. I have grown a lot in my poetry and hope to continue growing as I leave this class and use other inspirations for my poetry.
